Marc Pusing is a local content creator known for not just his steeze, but for his personality as well. A YouTuber partnered with a number of brands (like German brand RST Suspension) that believe in his work, Marc is passionate about sharing his journey and where biking takes him.
With the rise of YouTube vloggers and creators, we talk to Marc The Biker about what sets him apart and why you should check out his videos and other content. If there’s one thing that this pandemic and the lockdowns have taught us, it’s to go full-send in our passions.

WHO IS MARC THE BIKER?
Marc Pusing is actually a Sales Associate at a popular bike shop in Makati called “Bike COOP”, which carries high-end brands such as BMC, Pinarello, and more. You’ll see Marc there almost every day of the week, save for the days he’s shooting YouTube videos and riding with friends.
After getting a bike to commute to work back in 2014, Marc says that he started trail-riding 3 months right after getting his first mountain bike, “I immediately fell in love with it– everything about it, the jumps and drops, the dirt, the mud, rocks, berms, you name it,” he says, “I learned the best way in a trail called Army Trail.”
When we asked him why he wants to keep improving his riding, Marc jokes, “to show off!” and laughs, but then gets a bit serious, “the sense of fulfillment will hype you up every time you pull off something that you wanted to do, even if it’s maybe not as impressive as others but the fact that you wanted to, tried to do it, and ended up doing it, that’s awesome.” He says that he’s on YouTube because he wants to share the joy of mountain biking, everything about it, he says that “I want other people to see what they can do with a mountain bike, and how much fun they can have just riding a bike down a hill.”
WHAT AND WHY DOES HE RIDE?
Currently, Marc rides a rawed-out, paint-stripped Rurok Cordillera Enduro bike that he calls his favorite. He also rocks a GT La Bomba, the lovely green edition, which he breaks down in his “budget” build video below.
When asked about his dream bike, he’s going for “probably a Nukeproof Mega or a Rurok Kanlaon.”
In the end, Marc admits that he’s really just doing YouTube for fun, not really worried about the subs or the money, it’s more of just being able to do it — because he can. “I might not be the best at it,” Marc says,”I might even be the worst…but it’s fun, and that’s enough.” If you’re getting into trail-riding, Marc recommends both Heroes and Army trails, but unfortunately both are closed because of the lockdowns, so he recommends “maybe La Mesa or even Filinvest, if you want to get started.”
With the looming pandemic seemingly going nowhere soon, we’re all for all these content creators and their videos, taking us down trails and roads we otherwise wouldn’t go. The best thing about the growing community of video creators is that they continue to inspire many others to take up a bike and try it out — a kind of positive vibrations we can definitely get behind.
